Armond W. Brown – CEO

Pastor of the Fellowship Baptist Church of Oak Cliff; 1976 Graduate of Bishop College-BA Religion & Philosophy; Earned postgraduate hours at Perkins Theological Seminary (SMU) and Creighton University – Omaha, Nebraska.


Paula Dunn Brown

Paula is the Principal, Executive Director and a founding board member of the A. W. Brown-Fellowship Charter School. She has a Masters from Texas Woman’s University, and was certified in education in 1994. She also taught in the Dallas Independent School District five years where she was the grade level chairperson, vertical team leader and a math specialist. Paula has been married for twenty-seven years to the Reverend A. W. Brown, Founder and Senior Pastor of the Fellowship Baptist Church of Oak Cliff and Chief Executive Officer and Founder of the A. W. Brown-Fellowship Charter School. They have two children: Nicole, graduate of Texas Woman’s University majoring in Kinesiology; and Aaron, a freshman pre-medicine major at S.M.U.


Judy Hope Carroll

Judy is the Vice Principal of Instruction for PreKinder through 2dn grades for the A. W. Brown-Fellowship Charter School. Ms. Carroll has a BS degree in Business Technology from the University of Houston as well as 12 hours towards a Master’s Degree in Education from Texas Woman’s University. She is a certified K-6 teacher. Her background not only includes education, but over 13 years experience from one of the world’s largest financial institutions-Citibank and Dean Witter-a leading investment banking and stock brokerage firm.


Cynethia Belton Cynethia Belton

A resident of Duncanville, Texas, was born in Many, Louisiana, and reared in Omaha, Nebraska. She is a graduate of the University of Nebraska at Omaha and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education. Upon graduating, Mrs. Belton joined IBM Corporation and later relocated with the company to Dallas. She advances in her career and, after 15 years, left to pursue other career opportunities. Prior to coming to A. W. Brown-Fellowship Charter School, she served as a Language Arts, Pre-Honors English, and Talented and Gifted instructor in the Dallas Public Schools system. She is currently serving in as Vice Principal of Instruction for grades 3 through 6. She brings a wealth of experience and a “spirit of excellence” to the school.


Annette Bradford

Annette was born on October 19 at Parkland Hospital to Mr. And Mrs. Arthur Lee Bradford. She is the oldest of three children. Ms. Bradford has two brothers, one sister-in-law, one niece and two nephews. In 1975, she graduated fromDavid W. Carter High School. She later received a BA Degree in Political Science fromEast Texas State University in 1979. From 1980 to 2001, I have been employed as a Buyer II at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center; with the Examination Division with the Internal Revenue Service; a substitute teacher with the Dallas Independent School District and the Dallas County Juvenile Detention Center in which she was a supervisor. Ms. Bradford’s hobbies include gardening, spending time with family and working in the Men’s shoe department at Foleys.


Lonnie Carter

Lonnie is a native of Dallas, Texas and a graduate of Franklin D. Roosevelt High School. Mr. Carter attended the University of North Texas and Mountain View College. Mr. Carter worked for Blue Cross & Blue Shield for 15 years. He was also employed with IBM for 5 years. Mr. Carter is the coach and physical education teacher at the A. W. Brown-Fellowship Charter School. Mr. Carter is married to Sheryl D. Carter and has two lovely children, Cameron and Aaliyah. Mr. Carter is dedicated to making a change in each and every child’s life that crosses his path. He also has a love for all sports and is a die-hard Cowboy fan.


Patricia Cooper Patricia Cooper

Patricia was born in 1959, to Wesley and Gloria Cooper, in Shreveport Louisiana. Ms. Cooper has 22 years of medical experience. She attended St. Petersburg Junior College in Clearwater, Florida. She also is a certified program counselor (mental health). She also has CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) training. Pat has been a teacher’s assistant for three years. Pat will also attend Mountain View in order to continue her education in Elementary Education.


Kim Dalcour Kim Dalcour

Kim is a pre-kindergarten teacher for the PreK4 sstudents and has been a part of the A. W. Brown-Fellowship Charter School Family for 2002 years. She is a native or New Orleans, Louisiana. She attended Grambling State University where she studied Therapeutic Recreation and minored in Sports Medicine.


Shania Davis Shania Davis

Shania is a Teachers' Aide and is married with 3 children and 6 grandchildren. She was born in Dallas, Texas and attended Dallas public schools. Mrs. Davis attended Pittman’s Business College and El Centro Community College. Her previous employments include: home health care, day care owner and work for the Dallas Independent School District. Mrs. Davis is currently as teaching assistant for the A. W. Brown-Fellowship Charter School.


Ashley Holmes Ashley Holmes

Ashley Holmes was born in Dallas Texas. Ashley attend Molina High School were she just graduated this past May. Ashley is a T.A. for PreK-4. Ashley also has received her degree in Early Childhood Development.


Vickie Holmes

Vickie Holmes is a native of Dallas, Texas. She is happily married to Rev. Clenard Holmes of 14 years. They are the proud parents of three children, Rostinn, Ashley, and Erin. She is currently the Cafeteria Manager at A. W. Brown-Fellowship Charter School.


Adjuanita Holmes Hurst

Wanda, as her friends call her, is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana. She is the wife of Lucius Hurst, Jr. also of New Orleans, Louisiana and has 3 children, Damion, Kalanta and Kalandra and one grandson, Damion Jr. Adjuanita attended Xavier University in New Orleans, Louisiana. An experienced customer service representative for 18 years with CNA Insurance Corporation, she brings to A. W. Brown-Fellowship Charter School widespread experience in public service, planning and organization as well as administrative skills.


Twanna Mead Twanna Johnson-Mead

Twanna is a native of Shreveport, Louisiana. She is married to Mr. Anthony Mead, also from Louisiana. They have no children but they do have a lively and energetic Westie named “Snowball”. She graduated from Grambling State University, with a B. S. degree in Criminal Justice. Mrs. Mead learned early that she worked well with children and began offering counseling and behavior modification services to juvenile offenders. She moved to Texas in 1998, and began teaching. Mrs. Mead started her teaching career with Pre-kindergarten and 8th grade. While teaching she continued providing strengthening and parenting classes to foster families.


Lisa Martin Lisa D. Martin

Lisa is a single native of Riverside, California. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and a minor in Criminal Justice from Jarvis Christian College. Ms. Martin has also completed all the undergraduate requirements in Elementary Education at California Baptist University in Riverside, California. She has worked in the criminal justice system for five years and in the educational system for two years. She is currently a kindergarten teacher at A. W. Brown-Fellowship Charter School and her goal has always been to work with children at this level.


James Montfort

James Montfort is the CFO of the school. He is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a MBA degree from Stephen F. Austin State University. He worked in public accounting auditing public schools and hospitals for two years before becoming a CFO of a large multi hospital system. Mr. Montfort then started a managed care company, which he sold after being in business for 5 years. He moved to Texas and has been working in the Charter school business for the past three years.


Rosalyn Pinkney-Johnson Roslynn Pinkney Johnson

Roslynn Pinkney Johnson is a native of Shreveport, La. Roslynn is married to Larnell Johnson. She has four children and ten grandchildren. Roslynn has taught 3 & 4 year olds at Civil East Federal Day Care Center in Phoenix Arizona for seven years. She attended East Field College for two years and is currently pursuing a degree in Early Childhood at Paul Quinn College. Roslynn worked as director at the Little Folks Day Care for thirteen years. Roslynn was employed with D.I.S.D for eight years. She is presently a Pre-Kindergarten teacher's aide at A.W. Brown-Fellowship Charter School.



Kerwyn Simpson Kerwyn Simpson

Kerwyn is a native of Shreveport, Louisiana. He has been married since 2001 to his wife, Makisha. He has one daughter, Kalyce Simpson, who attended A. W. Brown-Fellowship Charter School in her elementary years. Kerwyn received his B. A. in English from Wiley College. He completed the Alternative Certification Program with the Dallas Independent School District in 1998. Kerwyn has taught for the past four years, and is looking forward to an exciting year at A. W. Brown-Fellowship Charter School.
